1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Dieses Kondensatormikrofon mit extrem dünner,
goldbeschichteter 25,4-mm-Membran (1") eignet
sich sowohl für die Schallabnahme von Instrumen-
ten als auch für Vokal anwendungen. Es wird direkt
an einen Computer mit USB 1.1- oder USB 2.0-
Schnittstelle an geschlossen.
Für die Tonaufnahme über den Computer kann
die mit dem Betriebssystem mitgelieferte Audio-Soft-
ware verwendet werden oder eine zusätzlich instal-
lierte Audio-Software. Verschiedene Audio-Aufnah-
meprogramme, z. B. „Audacity", sind als freie Soft-
ware im Internet erhältlich.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
Das Mikrofon entspricht allen erforderlichen Richtli-
nien der EU und ist deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.

Setzen Sie das Mikrofon nur im Innenbereich ein.
Schützen Sie es vor Feuchtigkeit und Hitze (zu-
lässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).

Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes,
weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Chemikalien oder
Wasser.

1 Applications
This condenser microphone with extra thin, gold-
coated 25.4 mm (1") diaphragm is designed both for
the sound pick-up of musical instruments and for
vocal sound applications. It is directly connected to
a computer with USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 interface.
For audio recording via the computer the audio
software supplied with the operating system can be
used or an audio software additionally installed. Var-
ious audio recording programmes, e. g. "Audacity",
are available as free software in the Internet.
2 Important Notes
The microphone corresponds to all relevant direc-
tives of the EU and is therefore marked with

The microphone is only suitable for indoor use.
Protect it against humidity and heat (admissible
ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C).

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, never use
chemicals or water.

3 Inbetriebnahme
1) Die Mikrofonhalterung (Spinne) auf ein Stativ mit
15,9-mm-Ge winde (
Drahtbügel an der Halterung zusammendrücken
und das Mikrofon einsetzen.
2) Zum Ausrichten des Mikrofons die Feststell -
schrau be an der Halterung lösen. Das Mikrofon
so positionieren, dass die Seite mit dem Symbol
in Richtung der Schallquelle zeigt. Anschlie-
ßend die Schrau be wieder festdrehen.
3) Den Computer hochfahren.
4) Das beiliegende Kabel mit dem Mikrofon und mit
einem USB-Anschluss des Computers verbin-
den: Die blaue LED unterhalb der Membran
leuchtet und das Mikrofon wird vom Betriebssys-
tem als USB-Toneingabegerät erkannt. Die er-
forderlichen Treiber – Standardtreiber des Be-
triebssystems – werden automatisch installiert.
(In einigen Fällen kann es erforderlich sein, eine
manuelle Pfadzuweisung der Treiber vorzu -

3 Setting into Operation
1) Screw the microphone support (spider) onto a
stand with 15.9 mm (
wire brackets at the support together and insert
the microphone.
2) To align the microphone, release the setscrew at
the support. Position the microphone so that the

sound source. Then retighten the screw.
3) Boot up the computer.
4) Connect the supplied cable to the microphone
and to the USB connection of the computer: The
blue LED below the diaphragm lights up and the

microphone is recognized by the operating sys-
tem as a USB audio input unit. The required
drivers – standard drivers of the operating sys-
tem – are automatically installed.
(In some cases it may be necessary to make a
manual path assignment of the drivers if these
are not automatically found by the operating sys-
tem. If necessary, install the required drivers via
the original CD of the operating system if they are
not available on the computer.)
