Thank you for purchasing the NTL1570 15-language translator. This product has been designed to help you
translate words in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Dutch, Finnish, Norwegian,
Danish, Swedish, Greek, Hungarian and Turkish.
The database includes 5000 words for each language, as well as 150 conversational phrases per language,
which have been grouped into 10 different categories for easy access and use. Under normal use, the NTL1570
is designed to give many years of service. Please read this instruction manual carefully in order to unlock the full
potential of your product.
When unpacking, ensure that the following elements are included:
1 x 15-language translator NTL1570
1 x CR2032 battery
1 x Instruction manual
Note: Remember to remove the clear film label from the screen by pulling the tab.
WARNING: All packaging materials, such as tape, plastic sheets, wire ties and tags are not part of this product and
should be discarded.
The NTL1570 operates with 1 x 3V
1. Turn off the unit.
2. Unscrew and remove the battery cover at the back of the unit.
3. Remove the battery and insert a new one.
4. Put back the battery cover and the screw.
5. Press any key except ENTER to skip the reset (if you want to keep all stored data).
• To keep all stored data, make sure to complete the replacement of the battery within one minute.
• If no key is pressed, auto power off will be activated when the set auto off time is reached. Press
to turn on the unit.
• When the sound weakens or the unit does not respond anymore, you may need to replace the battery.
• Reset will clear the memory of all data and settings.
Replace batteries as per the instructions above; failure to do so may lead to the loss of information stored in the unit's memory. Non-
rechargeable batteries should not be recharged. Do not use rechargeable batteries. Batteries should be inserted with the correct
polarity. Exhausted batteries should be removed from the unit. The supply terminals should not be short-circuited. Do not mix old
and new batteries. Do not bury or burn used batteries. Do not throw batteries into a fire. Remove the batteries if you are not going to
use the device for a long period of time. Only use batteries of the same or equivalent types as recommended. Batteries shall not be
exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, or the like.
WARNING: Malfunction or loss of memory may be caused by strong frequency interference or electrostatic
discharge. Should any abnormal function occur, remove the battery and insert it again.
Please refer to the diagram on page 3.
Note: To access secondary functions, press SHIFT (11) and then press the desired key. For example, press SHIFT
(11) and TRANSLATOR (2) to access PHRASES.
