This mode locks the movement of both axes and the orientation of the smartphone is fixed. Push the joystick up/down to control the roll axis angle, and push left/right to control the pan axis.

How to Use the SMOOTH-XS Standby Mode • When the SMOOTH-XS stabilizer is powered on, rotate the roll axis or pan axis manually until the axis triggers the built-in locking device. The SMOOTH-XS will then enter Standby Mode automatically. Unlock the roll axis and pan axis to wake the SMOOTH-XS stabilizer. -
