    Purpose The purpose of Triton/Dual is to assist the user and caregiver in the daily personal hygiene activities. With the ability to adjust the height and seat tilt, Triton/Dual takes both the users comfort and the caregivers optimal working position into account.     Check, that the battery alarm does not sound when used. Check that the annual service check has been carried out. If in doubt about how to use the chair, please contact your dealer or Winncare Nordic for advice and guidance.

  • Page 6: Terminology

    If the Triton/Dual is to be transported between sites it is recommended to use the original packaging. In case of return shipment of Triton/Dual the original packaging must be used. If unable to do so the user must find a suitable alternative that ensures proper protection of Triton/Dual during transport.

    If the seat is positioned between +7° and 0°, the DOWN button will tilt the chair to 0° simultaneously. Transport position. Lifts and tilts Triton/Dual to a position recommended for making short transfers. Store/Save. Position the chair in the desired position. Press and hold (6)+(7) or (6)+(8) two seconds.

    Charging Triton/Dual is charged with the cable attached to the chair. Connect the cable to a power outlet. It is recommended to charge the battery regular, such as overnight or when not in use. Note: During storage, charge the battery at least once every 12 months.

    The castor has a green pedal instead of a red one. The direction lock should be used when the chair is being positioned over a toilet or when driving in a straight line. Note: The direction lock increases the height of Triton/Dual with 7 mm.

    3 USING TRITON/DUAL User types Triton/Dual can be used by users that are able to walk or needs to be transferred to the chair. If the user needs to be transferred to the chair with E.G. a ceiling lift, the armrests can be turned to their vertical position for easier access.

    Strong chemicals or abrasive agents must not be used. Triton/Dual can also be cleaned in a washing machine or tunnel. All parts on the chair are approved for this including electrical components. Cleaning by washing machine or tunnel should be done in accordance to EN/ISO 60601-2-52.

    7 ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY Triton/Dual has an expected life time of a minimum of 10 years conditional on annual service and maintenance being carried out.
