24V DE-CH03 Charger Operating Instructions (replaces DW0246)
This DE-CH03 Charger is a reliable solution for charging the original DW0242 as well as certain generics (24V NICD and
NIMH up to 3.3Ah) via a wall outlet. This charger uses built-in safety features to protect the battery during charging (and
after) from overheating, overcharging, improper voltage, and short-circuiting.

WARNINGS:
Only charge original DW0242 (or specified generic) batteries with this charger. Do not charge any other
batteries with this charger (this charger does not work with Stryker's SMRT battery). Do not use the charger in a high
temperature environment (see environment limits at bottom of page). Keep the charger away from rain, water, and any
other liquid. Do not short circuit the battery. Remove the battery from the charger and unplug the adapter from the wall
when not in use. DISCLAIMER: Our guarantee/warranty does not cover any damage caused by improper use.
1. Assemble charger (if not already) by plugging the wall cord's small black plastic end into the charger.
2. Plug the wall cord into the wall outlet.

  • Page 2 Wall/Surface Mounting the Charger As of January 2018, the DE-CH03 comes with mounting holes built in and screws for easy wall/surface mounting. Choose a safe, cool, and dry location near a power outlet or extension cord, but clear of other devices on the wall (make sure screws will not penetrate any wiring already in wall).
