Wrongly connected
Cable break
Faulty measurement device (signal input) Check the ammeter (miniature fuse) or

Faulty energy supply
The sensor diaphragm is heavily
contaminated
The sensor diaphragm is encrusted or
covered in limescale
The sensor diaphragm is damaged (due
to gauge pressure or having a
mechanical cause)
Cable damage having a mechanical,
thermal or chemical cause

Check connections
Check all cable connections
the analogue input of the signal
processing unit
Check the load resistance
Check the output voltage of the power
supply unit
Check the power supply unit and the
supply voltage across the device
Clean it with a non-abrasive cleaning
solution and soft brush or sponge
Recommendation: Have it descaled or
cleaned by GEMÜ
Check the diaphragm. If it is damaged,
send the device to GEMÜ for repair.
Check the cable. Check the housing for
pitting. If it is damaged, send the device
to GEMÜ for repair.
