Welche Buchse als Eingang und welche als Aus-
gang benutzt wird, ist frei wählbar. Bei Verwen-
dung nur einer Buchse wird der Eingang auto-
matisch intern mit 75 Ω abgeschlossen; beim
Anschluss beider Buchsen ist der Eingang hoch-
ohmig.
9 Schiebeschalter SCAN für die Größe des Kame-
rabildes
UNDER Das Kamerabild wird etwas verkleinert,
ist dafür aber komplett sichtbar um
auch die Randbereiche überwachen zu
können. Dazu wird der Bildschirm nicht
voll ausgeschrieben, schwarze Ränder
sind sichtbar.

It is optional which jack will be used as input and
which jack as output. If only one jack is used, the
input is automatically terminated with 75 Ω inter-
nally; if both jacks are connected, the input is of
high impedance.
9 Sliding switch SCAN for the size of the camera
picture
UNDER the camera picture is slightly reduced
in size, but completely visible so that
the marginal areas can be monitored
as well. For this purpose, the screen is
not completely filled, black margins are
visible.
OVER
The camera picture is shown in a
slightly enlarged way for better recog-
nizing details in the picture centre but
the marginal areas are not visible.

Dieses Gerät entspricht der Richtlinie für elektroma-
gnetische Verträglichkeit 89/336/EWG und der Nie-
derspannungsrichtlinie 73/23/EWG.
Achtung! Das Gerät wird mit lebensgefährlicher
Netzspannung (230 V~) versorgt. Neh-
men Sie deshalb nie selbst Eingriffe im
Gerät vor. Durch unsachgemäßes Vor-
gehen besteht die Gefahr eines elektri-
schen Schlages. Außerdem erlischt
beim Öffnen des Gerätes jeglicher
Garantieanspruch.
Beachten Sie auch unbedingt die folgenden Punkte:
Vorsicht! Die Bildröhre ist luftleer. Bei mechani-
scher Beschädigung besteht Implosionsgefahr
und Verletzungsgefahr durch herumfliegende
Glassplitter.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur im Innenbereich.
Schützen Sie es vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser,
hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Ein-
satztemperaturbereich 0–40 °C).
Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gefäße,
z. B. Trinkgläser, Vasen etc., auf das Gerät.
Die in dem Gerät entstehende Wärme muss durch
Luftzirkulation abgegeben werden. Decken Sie

2 Safety Notes
This unit corresponds to the directive 89/336/EEC
for electromagnetic compatibility and the low voltage
directive 73/23/EEC.
Attention! The unit is supplied with hazardous
mains voltage (230 V~). Leave servic-
ing to authorized personnel only. In
expert handling may cause an electric
shock hazard. Furthermore, any guar-
antee claim will expire if the unit has
been opened.
Please observe the following items in any case:
Caution! The picture tube is vacuous. In case of
mechanical damage, there is an implosion hazard
and scattered glass may cause injuries.
The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it
against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity and heat (admissible ambient tempera-
ture range 0 – 40 °C).
Do not place any vessels filled with liquid, e. g.
drinking glasses or vases, on the unit.
The heat generated in the unit must be carried off
by air circulation. Therefore, do not cover the air
vents at the rear side of the housing.
Do not insert anything through the air vents! An
electric shock may result.
Do not set the unit into operation, and immediately
disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket if
1. there is visible damage to the unit or to the
mains cable,

1. sichtbare Schäden am Gerät oder an der Netz-
anschlussleitung vorhanden sind,
2. nach einem Sturz oder Ähnlichem der Verdacht
auf einen Defekt besteht,
3. Funktionsstörungen auftreten.
Geben Sie das Gerät in jedem Fall zur Reparatur
in eine Fachwerkstatt.
Eine beschädigte Netzanschlussleitung darf nur
durch den Hersteller oder durch eine autorisierte
Fachwerkstatt ersetzt werden.
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nie an der Zuleitung
aus der Steckdose, fassen Sie immer am Stecker
an!
Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trocke-
nes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Chemikalien
oder Wasser.
Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, falsch ange-
schlossen, nicht richtig bedient oder nicht fachge-
recht repariert, kann für eventuelle Schäden keine
Haftung übernommen werden.
Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem Betrieb genom-
men werden, übergeben Sie es zur umweltge-
rechten Entsorgung einem örtlichen Recyclingbe-
trieb.
3 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Der Monitor ist speziell für den Einsatz in Video-
Überwachungsanlagen konzipiert. Mehrere Moni-
tore können zu einer Monitorkette verbunden wer-
den um so an verschiedenen Stellen oder durch
mehrere Personen eine Überwachung zu ermög-
lichen.

A damaged mains cable must only be replaced by
the manufacturer or by authorized, skilled person-
nel.
Never pull the mains cable to disconnect the

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no
means chemicals or water.
If the unit is used for purposes other than originally
intended, if it is not connected or operated correct-
ly, or not repaired in an expert way, there is no lia-
bility for possible damage.
If the unit is to be put out of operation definitively,
take it to a local recycling plant for disposal which
is not harmful to the environment.
Important for U. K. Customers!
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in ac-
cordance with the following code:
green/yellow = earth
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug,
proceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured green and yellow
must be connected to the terminal in the plug
which is marked with the letter E or by the earth
symbol
, or coloured green or green and
yellow.
2. The wire which is coloured blue must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
3. The wire which is coloured brown must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.
Warning – This appliance must be earthed.
