Introduzione SmartDHOME vi ringrazia per aver scelto questo rile- vatore di fumo per la sicurezza degli impianti. Il presente modulo è un dispositivo certificato Z-Wave, compatibile con qualsiasi rete abilitata Z-Wave. Tutti i dispositivi Z-Wave alimentati dalla rete elettrica svolgono anche la funzione di ripetizione di segnale per i dispositivi alimentati a batterie, aiutando ad eliminare possibili zone d’ombra del segnale. Il sensore è stato concepito per rilevare la presenza di fumo nell’ambiente in cui è stato posizionato e sarà in grado di inviare un allarme in caso venga rilevata la presenza di fumo. -

- Page 8 Nota: non disattivare il dispositivo per evitare che suoni. Una volta definiti il numero di dispositivi necessari e l’esatta collocazione di ciascuno procedere come seg- 1. Rimuovere la staffa di montaggio dal dispositivo. 2. Utilizzare la staffa come dima per effettuare i buchi a soffitto. 3. Quindi bucare e inserire i tasselli, utilizzando le viti in dotazione fissare la staffa di supporto. 4. Quindi agganciare il dispositivo alla staffa e girare in senso orario per fissarlo. A questo punto procedere con l’inserimento della batteria 9V nella giusta polarità.

Introduction Thanks for choosing the SmartDhome smoke detector. This module is a Z-Wave enabled device and is fully compatible with any Z-Wave enabled network. Every mains powered Z-Wave enabled device acts as a signal repeater and multiple devices result in more possible transmission routes, which helps eliminate “RF dead- spots”. The detector is designed to sense smoke that comes into the detector chamber. It does not sense gas, heat, or flame. -

Installation In the battery compartment, there is a button which is used to carry out the inclusion, exclusion or association. When the detector is first pow- ered up, the LED flashes on and off alternately and repeatedly at 2-second intervals. -

exclusion mode, press the button 3 times within 1.5 seconds. The detector will stay “awake” for 10 minutes to allow time for setting and device status enquiring. Detector beeps when button is pressed. To reset the module press button 3 times within 1.5 seconds. Within 1 second, press and hold but- ton until beep stops. The sensor is excluded and all the preset values will be reset to factory de- fault. Detector beeps when button is pressed. A long beep is sounded for 5 seconds. - Page 19 3. If it is not possible to place on ceiling place on wall at 10/ 15 cm from the ceiling. 4. In the case of a sloping ceiling, place it 3ft horizon- tally from the highest point of the ceiling. 5. To prevent malfunction of the device, do not install close (less than 6 feet) to a room which usually has smoke present (eg kitchens). Don’t place in wet, dirty or cold areas.
- Page 20 Once you have defined the number of devices needed and the exact location of each, do the following: 1. Remove the mounting bracket from the device. 2. Use the bracket as a template to make holes in the ceiling 3. Drill and insert the rawl plugs, and using the sup- plied screws fix the bracket. 4. Line up the slot of the bracket and the detector. Push the detector onto the mounting bracket and turn it clockwise to fix it into place. (Pull outward on the detector to make sure it is securely at- tached to the mounting bracket).
