4.3.
RATCHET
fig.1
4.3.1.
Attach the required socket to the tool and set the direction of rotation according to the task being undertaken (fig.1).
4.3.2.
The ratchet can be used in both powered and manual modes. When the switch lock is pushed backwards into the handle, the on/off
switch is disabled and the ratchet can be used in manual mode.
NOTE: The motor has over-torque protection in which a clutch mechanism activates a tactile vibrating response in the unit. This alerts
the user to switch to manual mode (i.e. push switch lock rearwards).
4.3.3.
The battery state, whilst in use, is indicated by the battery level indicator (fig.1 and the table above).
5. MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Always disconnect the battery before carrying out any inspection, maintenance or cleaning.

CLEANING
WARNING: Always wear protective equipment including eye protection and gloves when cleaning this tool.
5.1.3.
Keep your tool clean at all times. Dirt and dust will cause internal parts to wear quickly and shorten the device's service life.

Clean the body of your machine with a soft brush, or dry cloth.
5.1.5.
Never use caustic agents to clean plastic parts. If dry cleaning is not sufficient, a mild detergent on a damp cloth is recommended.

Water must never come into contact with the tool. Ensure the tool is thoroughly dry before using it.
5.1.7.
If available, use clean, dry compressed air to blow through the ventilation holes (where applicable).
