The first step in planning is reviewing information already available about the job and jobsite. Arrange for Traffic Control If working near a road or other traffic area, contact local authorities about safety procedures and regulations.

    Filter Change, replace, adjust, service or test Proper lubrication and maintenance protects Ditch Witch equipment from damage and failure. Service intervals listed are for minimum requirements. In extreme conditions, service machine more frequently. Use only recommended lubricants. Fill to capacities listed in “Specifications” on page 121.
