Step 1: Inserting batteries
Insert 2 AAA alkaline batteries in the battery compartment, accessed from the rear panel.
Step 2: Power on
Power on the HP computer, and then power on the Slim Bluetooth Keyboard by sliding the
power switch to its power-on position.
note:
You must have Bluetooth wireless technology installed on your computer to complete this
procedure.
Step 3: Preparing to pair the Bluetooth keyboard with your computer
Before pairing the Slim Bluetooth Keyboard with an HP computer, ensure that the computer has
Bluetooth in Discovery mode:
For Windows 7:
1. Right-click the Bluetooth icon in the notification area, at the far right of the taskbar, and
then click Open Settings.
2. In the Options tab, click the box under Discovery to Allow Bluetooth devices to find
this computer.
3. Click Apply, and then click OK.
For Windows 8:
