⁄ For best results, Hansgrohe recommends that this unit
be installed by a licensed, professional plumber.
⁄ The thermostatic cartridge and shutoff cartridges are
included with the trim kit.
⁄ This valve is for two shower functions plus a hand-
shower. It is for use with rough valve 45443181 (not
included).
⁄ Protection against backflow is provided by check
valves.

⁄ The thermostatic mixer is for use with shower heads
rated at 1.1 GPM (4.2 L/min) or higher.
⁄ The valve can support a maximum of 24 lbs. (11 kg.)
⁄ Prolonged exposure to residue from soap, shampoo,
other toiletries, or cleaning agents can damage
the finish. Such damage is not covered under the
Hansgrohe warranty.
⁄ To prevent scald injury, the maximum output tempera-
ture of the shower mixing valve (not included) must
be no higher than 120°F (49°C). In Massachusetts,
the maximum output temperature can be no higher
than 112°F (44°C).
⁄ Keep this booklet and the receipt (or other proof
of date and place of purchase) for this product in
a safe place. The receipt is required should it be
necessary to request warranty parts.
