3. Guide the pump cord through the outlet hole on
the fountain (A).
Close the back door.
4. Add water to the fountain. Plug into an
electrical outlet.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• A clogged or dirty intake screen will greatly reduce performance. If the pump is used on a dirty
surface, raise it slightly to reduce the amount of debris contacting the intake. If less flow is
desired, adjust the flow control lever on the side of the pump or restrict the discharge flow.
• Do not let the pump run when not submerged in water. Doing so may damage the pump. Always
submerge the pump first and then plug it into an electrical outlet.
• At first, the pump might not pump water because there is air in the pump and tube. Pull the cord
out of the electrical outlet several times to clear the pump and tube of air.
• The pump is to be supplied through a Residual Current Device (RCD) with a rated residual
operating current not exceeding 30 milli-Ampere.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
• Regular cleaning of the pump may be necessary depending upon the environment in which it is
operated. Clean the pump when it is visibly soiled or when a drop in performance is detected.
• Before cleaning, always disconnect the pump from the power source.
• Remove all parts from the pump and clean in warm, soapy water.
