• Only operate the pump with sinusoidal AC voltage.
• Note the maximum switching frequency:
- Limited number of switch on/off operations:
500.000 cycles over the entire life of the pump.
- On/off switching operations via mains
voltage ≤ 100/24 h.
- ≤ 20/h for a switching frequency of 1 minute
between switching on/off via mains voltage.
- The time intervals between on/off switching must
guaranteed with > 10 seconds.
• The electrical connection must be made via a fixed
connecting cable equipped with a connector device or
an all-pole switch with a contact opening width of at
least 3 mm (VDE 0700/Part 1).
• Use a connecting cable with sufficient outer diameter
(e.g. H05VV-F3G1.5) to protect against leaking water
and to ensure strain relief on the threaded cable con -
nection.
• Use a heat-resistant connecting cable where fluid
temperatures exceed 90 °C.
• Ensure that the connecting cable does not make con -
tact with either the pipes or the pump.
• This pump must be used with a mains voltage within
the standard mains tolerances of 230 V +10%/-15%.
For a short time this EC pump can be used within the
voltage limits of 170 V - 263 V, but its performances
could be affected.
• After switching on, the reaction time is 2.5 seconds to
reach 80% of the maximum speed.
CAUTION!
• Protection against overvoltage is ensured via a varis -
tor with a voltage limitation of 275 V. It must be
ensured that this limit is never exceeded.
• Power control via triacs is not permitted
• The inrush current of the pump is ≤ 3 A.
