    The purchase of a spa is often the realization of a dream and represents an investment for many years. At Aquatherma, we are very aware of this and it is why we created this little booklet to help make the use and maintenance of your purchase enjoyable.

    Aquatherma spas have been designed to be safe for private residential use. Please contact your representative if the purpose of your unit is to change or become public as specific options and precautions will need to be part of your unit.

JETS The flow of each jet can be controlled by turning it to the left (less powerful/closed) or to the right (more powerful/open). The jets can also be removed. To do so, grab then turn the entire jet to the left; when completely left, continue to apply tension to the left to disengage the screw mechanism to which the jet is fitted to remain in place.

  • Page 8 COMPONENTS Technical module – Pumping systems PUMP (MOTOR) Strainer cover The pump circulates the water, in a closed circuit, between the spa and the technical module in order to be freed from its impurities by the filter and Pump (motor) heated by the water heater before returning to the spa basin through the water jets.
  • Page 9 COMPONENTS Technical module – Electronic systems ELECTONIC KEYPAD The keypad is usually installed near the spa for easy access by users. It is connected to the electronics housing though a cable that must be passed through a rigid pipe (carlon type) and then buried in the trench that connects the spa to the mechanical system.
  • Page 10 COMPONENTS Technical module – Filtration systems CARTRIDGE FILTRATION Filter cover plug The filter and its cartridge play a very important role. A clean cartridge contributes significantly to good water quality, and to pump suction and proper propulsion as well Filter cover as the proper function of the housing and the electronic keypad (no error codes appearing).

    ACCESSORIES Optional HARD COVER The three-piece foldable hard cover is equipped with quick release straps that must be attached to the outside edges of the spa using screws or concrete glue. A small plastic piece is provided with this clip to lock the clip.

    WATER TREATMENT Properly maintaining the water in your spa is the only way to provide you with peace of mind and to prevent you from having health issues as well as altering the various components of your spa. The use of chlorine is not recommended for spa water treatment, first because it is unstable in hot water and it is too corrosive to the spa components relative to the amount of water that it contains.

    CLOSING PROCEDURES Your spa can be used during the cold season provided you pay constant attention to it so as not to risk a shutdown of the technical module. This would result in a risk of freezing the mechanical/electronic system and possible significant damage to certain components.
