SMART PIPETTE - USER GUIDE PIPETTINg TECHNIQUES Forward Pipetting 1. Press the operating knob to the first stop. 2. Dip the tip under the surface of the liquid in the reservoir to a depth of about 1cm and slowly release the operating knob. Withdraw the tip from the liquid touching it against the edge of the reservoir to remove excess liquid. -
