To skip through tracks or an
entire disc forward or backward
(for Video CDs only)
Pressing the TIME INDEX
to skip through the track backward or forward respectively by
the time shown on the display.
When you press a button several times in a short period of
time, the time to skip changes on the display. Releasing the
button moves the position by the displayed time before or
after. The skip operation varies as follows:
While you are playing back a disc, you can skip forward or
backward through the entire disc.
While you are playing back a Video CD, version 2.0 in the
Playback Control mode, you can skip forward or backward
through the selected track.
To get a quick overview of a track
or a disc (for Video CDs only)
To watch scenes of a selected track on a
Video CD
Press the DIGEST button.
To watch the beginning of all tracks on a
Video CD
Press the INTRO button.
* You can watch up to nine screens at a time on the video
monitor.
Notes
These buttons can work only for playing back a Video CD.
These buttons cannot work when playing back a Video CD,
version 2.0 in the Playback Control mode. To make these
buttons work, press and hold the stop
than 2 seconds to stop this unit.
These DIGEST and INTRO operations repeat endlessly
until you stop playback.
The monitor can show up to nine screens at a time. The
number of screens varies from disc to disc. There may be
a case that the monitor can show one screen only as
follows:
These button cannot work in the program play and random
play modes.
