    CONNECTIONS General notes on connections Be sure to turn off this unit and unplug the power supply cable, before you make or change connections. • Depending on the component you want to connect, there are various ways to make connections. Possible connections are described below.

    ■ Digital connections If you want to use the Dolby Digital, DTS or MPEG function on your AV receiver, connect DIGITAL (OPTICAL) <A> or DIGITAL (COAXIAL) <B> or HDMI <C> jack of this unit to the corresponding input jacks of your AV receiver using a commercially available digital optical, digital coaxial or HDMI cable.
