Rice
The SMART COOK RICE setting is suitable
for white rice such as long grain rice, jasmine
and basmati. The Sensor IQ technology will
automatically calculate the cooking time for
the optimal food result, and for the rice grains
to remain separate and tender.
Always use a deep microwave-safe bowl. Wash
well with cold water until water runs clear
before cooking.
Minimum amount of rice cooked is 1 cup
(8oz/225g) and maximum is 2 cups (1lb
/450g). Add 2:1 parts ratio of water to rice.
Allow rice to stand for 5 minutes with the lid
on before serving.
Oatmeal
The SMART COOK OATMEAL setting is
designed to gently cook your oats to tender
without drying or becoming lumpy.
It is recommended to place the oats in a glass
bowl at least triple the initial combined volume
of the oats and water.
Minimum amount of oatmeal cooked is ½ cup
(50g) and maximum is 2 cups (200g). Add 2:1
parts ratio of water to oats.
Allow oats to stand for 2–3 minutes before
serving.

The SMART REHEAT setting uses lower
power levels to gently reheat food to perfect
serving temperatures every time, without
drying or overcooking.
This program allows you to reheat food
without selecting times and power levels. The
Sensor IQ technology for SMART REHEAT is
designed to detect the steam released by the
food during the reheating process.
Press SMART REHEAT button to enter
SMART REHEAT settings, the microwave will
play the select tone once.
Press START to begin reheating.
