DRY IRONING

1. Set the steam controller to the
(fig. 11).
2. Set the recommended ironing temperature by
turning the temperature regulator (fig. 12).
Note:
Check the care instructions on the labels as to whether and at which temperature the article of clothing
is suitable for ironing.
Caution: If the care instructions on the clothing prohibit ironing
damage the garment otherwise.
Ironing and spraying
The laundry can be dampened in difficult places by pressing on the spray
button. The spray nozzle can be used for ironing both with and without steam
regardless of the temperature setting.
1. Aim the spray nozzle at the desired area of the article of clothing.
2. Press the spray button several times if necessary (Fig. 13).

AUTOMATIC SHUTDOWN

If the iron is switched on but is not being used, it will shut itself down after approximately 30 seconds
in a horizontal position and approx. 8 minutes in an upright position. There will be six beeping sounds
and the temperature control light will constantly blink until the next time the iron is used.

CLEANING AND CARE

Caution
• Before cleaning, disconnect the power plug from the receptacle and allow the iron to cool down
completely. Never immerse the product in water or other liquids while cleaning or operating it. Never
hold it under running water.
• Never use solvents and scouring powder, hard brushes and metallic or sharp objects to clean the
iron. Solvents are injurious to health and affect the plastic parts; scouring cleaners and aids scratch
the surface.
1. Clean the external surfaces of the product with a slightly dampened cloth and dry them well afterwards.
2. Make sure that no water penetrates inside the iron (e.g. at the switches.)
3. Wipe calcareous particles and other deposits off the iron's soleplate with a damp cloth and some
dishwashing liquid.
Caution! In order not to damage the soleplate, do not allow it to come into contact with metal objects.
4. Rinse the water tank out regularly with clear water and empty it afterwards.
5. Store the iron in a dry, cool place that is protected against humidity and exposure to direct sunlight.
Keep the product in a place that is inaccessible for children.
