Determine Stereo Speaker Placement Check for any obstruction Choose Your Speaker Placement Location Carefully. Measure and cut the speaker openings Drill a 1/2" hole in the four corners of the template. STEP 2 Using a manual drywall saw or razor blade, cut around all four edges of the cut-out and remove the piece of drywall.

Route speaker cables STEP 3 ENSURE SNAKE AND SPEAKER WIRE ARE SECURELY TAPED TOGETHER Running wires behind baseboards: Remove the baseboards and cut a channel into the bottom of the drywall or plaster for SPEAKER WIRE the wires and then reinstall the baseboards.
