  • Page 4 Although this device is manufactured with the utmost care and checked several times before leaving the factory, it is still possible that problems may occur, as with all electrical appliances. If you notice smoke, an excessive build-up of heat or any other unexpected phenomena, you should disconnect the plug from the main power socket immediately.

The first time you use the radio, or if the station list is empty, the radio automatically performs a full scan to see what stations are available.

  • Page 9 7. Menu Dynamic range compression (DRC) This function reduces the difference between the loudest and quietest audio being broadcast. Effectively, this makes quiet sounds comparatively louder, and loud sounds comparatively quieter. Note: DRC only works if it is enabled by the broadcaster for a specific station.
