MACHINE TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
Vacuum motor does not run, or runs
slowly
Squeegee will not go up/down

Faulty vacuum circuit or switch
Worn vacuum motor brushes
Faulty circuit or actuator
Faulty cables or pulleys
Debris caught in scrub brushes
Worn brushes or pads
Improper detergent, brush or pad
used
Low scrub brush down pressure
Low battery charge
Solution tank empty
Solution strainer plugged
Solution system plumbing obstructed
Pump obstructed
Solution solenoid valve obstructed or
stuck
Solution shut-off valve is closed
Faulty pump circuit or pump
Faulty solenoid
Circuit breaker(s) tripped
Low battery charge
Fault brush circuit or motor
Worn brush motor brushes
Faulty actuator circuit or actuator
No brushes or pad drivers on

SOLUTION
Check wires & connections
Replace brushes, check commutator
Check wires, connectors and actuator
Repair/replace cables or pulleys
Remove debris
Replace brushes or pads
Contact equipment or application
specialists
Increase brush pressure
Charge batteries
Fill solution tank
Clean solution strainer
Clear obstruction from plumbing
Clean or replace pump
Clean or replace valve
Open shut-off valve
Check wiring, connections, and pump.
Check solenoid valve
Reset circuit beaker(s)
Charge battery
Check wires, connections and motor
