Tire Pressure Monitor Upgrade Instructions

The Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) upgrade is a two part
process. First you will replace the batteries in your
TPM tool with the rechargable batteries included in
this upgrade, Next you will update the TPM tool
internal operating application.
Battery Replacement
1 Remove the battery door and the C-cell batteries from
TPM tool.
2 Remove the 6 screws from the back cover of the TPM
tool. Then remove the back cover from the tool.
3 Install the replacement battery pack in the battery tray as
illustrated next. The battery door with built-in charging
terminals is attached to the battery pack. Do not remove
the battery door from the battery pack.

Replacement battery pack shown installed
4 Route the replace battery door through the back cover of
the TPM Tool as illustrated next.
5 Place the 6 screws back into back cover of the TPM tool
and secure/snap the attached battery door onto the back
cover.
6 Affix the provided decal on the outside of the tool as
shown next.
