3. LIMIT SWITCH ADJUSTMENT

Turning the end run adjusting screw to "+" symbol, there is an increase of the roll run in the
sense indicated from the arrow "↑" or "↓".
-
Turning the end run adjusting screw to "-" symbol, there is a decrease of the roll run in the
sense indicated from the arrow "↑" or "↓".
Note: 12 turns of the screw correspond approximately to one roller turn.
3.1 Use with roller shutters (Fig.4)
Adjust the RED screw to set the top position
Adjust the WHITE screw to set the bottom position.
1. After installing the motorised roller, rotate in the shutter down direction until the limit switch
stops the motor.
2. Turning the WHITE screw to "+" symbol, turn the roller until it is at the best position for
fastening the shutter.
3. Fasten the shutter to the roller.
4. Using the switch, lift the shutter; after it stops at the upper limit switch, turn the adjusting
RED screw to "+" symbol, until the shutter is at the desired position.
Positioning errors: if the roller travels beyond the required position, use the switch to lower
the shutter a short distance, and turn the RED screw to "-" symbol.
Raise the shutter again until it stops at the limit switch; then proceed as to item 4 above.
Attention:
do not install stopper or stop carriers on the end blade of the rolling shutter.
3.2 Use with sunshades (Fig.5)
• Act on the WHITE screw to adjust shutter closing.
• Act on the RED screw to adjust aperture.
1. After installing the motorised roller, turn it to open the shutter, until it stops at the limit
switch.
2. Turning the RED screw to "+" symbol, turn the roller to a suitable position to fasten the
shade to the roller.
3. Fasten the shade to the roller.
4. Using the switch, close the shade; after the roller stops at the limit switch, turn the WHITE
adjusting screw to "+" symbol to the required position.
Positioning errors: if during closure the required stop position is exceeded, open the shade
for a short distance using the switch, and adjust the WHITE screw to "-" symbol a few turns.
Repeat operation 4 above.
Notes:
-
Adjust the lift stop point with a reasonable tolerance as regards the mechanical stop point
of the awning.

Check the system a few days after installation and adjust the limit switch if necessary in
order to recover any play of the cloth.
4. MANUAL OVERRIDE (OR EMERGENCY OVERRIDE)
As for all types of installations, take great care to ensure the motor remains at right-angles to
