VT900 with Alcohol Sensor Instruction
1. Hardware: VT900 3G GPS Tracker, Magnetic Card Reader, Alcohol Sensor

2. Firmware: VT900_3G_V1.69_D30_20180622.Bin

Note: Above is the customized version for Thailand market. If you need use BUZZER to alarm, please
contact us for customization.

Step 1: Wire Connection

VT900 AD wire connect to Alcohol sensor AD wire. In device GPRS data package, AD1 value is the alcohol
sensor output voltage.
Note: Alcohol sensor power supply is 0-5V, that means you can not directly connect to vehicle main
power.

Step 2: Check Alcohol Sensor output voltage

Check Alcohol Sensor AD wire output voltage by multimeter, which should be lower than 0.5V.
Detection accuracy will be better if the alcohol sensor is heated for more than 10 minutes

Step 3: Start Testing

1. Tracker ON after 10mins, put Alcohol sensor close to Alcohol
2. Alcohol Sensor detected alcohol in the air, will trigger buzzer alarm and send GPRS event
server.
3. If you connect VT900 GPS Tracker to COMTOOL, you could find the 0X79 alarm as below:
