E-TON 2009 MATRIX SCOOTER
LUGGAGE BOX INSTALLATION

REAR RACK INSTALLATION

Before installing the luggage box on the 2009 Matrix 50 and
Matrix R4-150 scooters, the rear rack must be replaced with the
one included with the luggage box.

STEP 1—Remove the rear trim piece from the vehicle by re-
moving the three bolts shown in the picture. It is the silver
plastic piece that curves around the back of the scooter.

STEP 2—Install the new rear rack by positioning it on the
back of the vehicle and reinstalling the three bolts removed
before as shown in the picture. Be sure to insert the two
spacers under the front of the rack as show in the
picture.

STEP 3—Assemble the mounting
hardware as shown in the diagram
and photograph. Two bolts and
washers fit through either side of
the mounting plates and through
the bottom of the luggage box on
the inside.
