Checking Your Vent Your washer/dryer must be properly installed and vented to achieve maximum drying efficiency. Install your washer/dryer in a well-ventilated (45°F). Also make sure that your washer/dryer for more information. Use a heavy metal vent. Do not use a plastic vent. Do not use a metal foil vent.
