- Page 5 SETUP Uncoil the string light and connect it to adaptor. Leave the string light exposed to the Sun for a short period before installation to make it more pliable and easier to position. Arrange the string light as required. Connect the adaptor to a power supply and switch it on.
- Page 6 Install App Download the “Kogan SmarterHome” app from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS). Register If you do not have a Kogan SmarterHome™ account, register or sign in with a verification code sent by SMS. To register: Tap to enter registration page.
- Page 7 Set device in pairing mode When the device is first turned on, it may automatically enter pairing mode. This is indicated by the Wi-Fi indicator on the controller quickly flashing red. If not automatically in pairing mode when powered on, you can manually set the device in pairing mode by long pressing the Function Indicator button on the controller for 10 seconds until the Wi-Fi indicator quickly flash red.

OPERATION After entering the control page of the device, you can tap the switch icon to turn on the string light. - Page 10 Control Page Settings When the light is switched on, the following options are displayed on the control page: Modes Adjust the functions/modes of the string light. The modes are Steady, Wave, Fade, Flash, Sparkle, Twinkle, Chase, Jump and Auto. Colour Change the string light colour.
