2. General description

equilibrium brackets are part of Dentaurum's standard bracket range.

They are formed, milled and processed out of rod material and undergo
many tried-and-tested working stages. Brackets in the equilibrium
®
family are genuine one-piece brackets. They are produced in one piece
- body and base - making them specially biocompatible as no solders
are used. equilibrium mini and equilibrium 2 brackets are made of
® ®
stainless steel whilst equilibrium ti is made of titanium and is therefore
®
completely nickel-free.
3. Processing
3.1 Informing the patient
Inform the patient about the possible consequences and risks of bracket
treatment, in particular during debonding.
3.2 Conditioning teeth
Check each tooth thoroughly for any existing damage to the enamel to
avoid unexpected damage to the tooth during debonding. Follow the
instructions from the bracket adhesive manufacturer for conditioning
the teeth.
3.3 Selecting bracket adhesive
equilibium brackets can be bonded using all commercially available
®
bracket adhesives. We recommend CONTEC lc (REF 163-111-00),
ConTec Go! (REF 163-321-00) and SmartBond (REF 163-506-00).
