  • Page 14 Maintenance (continued) Cleaning and Replacing the Rear Motor HEPA and Carbon Filter The Rear Motor HEPA and Carbon Filter is installed behind the exhaust grille. This filter is washable, however frequent washing of the carbon filter can reduce the life of the carbon filter. When dust or dirt is visible on the surface of the HEPA filter, the filter should be replaced or washed with lukewarm water to maintain efficient suction.
