    FREEZING & STORING FROZEN FOODS The freezer section is designed for storage of commercially frozen foods and for freezing foods at home. Packaglng - The secret of successful freezing is in the packaging. The wrap you use must be air, moisture and vapor proof.
  • Page 11 Freezlng Vegetables - Freeze only fresh high- quality vegetables picked when barely mature. For best results, freeze no more than 2 to 3 hours after picking. Wash in cold water, sort and cut into appropriate sizes. Blanch or scald. Pack in recom- mended container and freeze.
