    1 Environmental Considerations The Showmaster Go can be mounted singly or in multiples up to three per rack unit. The available mounting options are VESA, an anti-shock mounting frame, and a rack mounting tray. All are available options from 7thSense Design. When mounting the Showmaster Go, do not block any server air vents, and ensure the ambient temperature around the server is compatible with the environmental characteristics stated below.

  • Page 6: Anti-Shock Frame

    3 Anti-shock Frame The Showmaster Go is designed for moving environments, and is resilient to vibration and shock to BS EN 60068-2-6, further protection especially in mounting security is available by using the anti-shock frame. Remove the two black dome-head screws from the front panel (circled): These are the fixing points for the front of the anti-shock frame.

    4 Rack-Mount Tray Up to three units can be mounted as a 1U rack unit, using the optional rack mount tray. Where fewer than three units are mounted this way, use the supplied blanking plates. Remove the two black dome-head screws from the Showmaster Go front panel: Present the unit where required into the tray and secure using two black finger screws.
  • Page 8 When adding blanking plates, present these to the outer side first to avoid scraping down a server side. The screw holes in the plates are asymmetric, so check that the holes align with the finger screws. Use the cable tie eyelets on the rear base of the tray to secure loose cables as needed. The tray itself is supported in the server rack by the two side plates.
