Battery Pack Installation • Using a slotted screwdriver or coin, turn the battery compartment fastener on the side of the iXL Handheld Device (sold separately) to unlock • Slide the battery compartment door to remove it. • Remove the batteries from the battery compartment. - Page 5 Battery Pack Installation • Fit the tabs on the rechargeable battery pack into the slots in the battery compartment. • Push to “snap” in place. • Fit the tabs on the underside of the battery compartment door into the grooved tabs on the handheld. Slide the battery compartment door to close.
- Page 6 Battery Tray Storage Note: You can store the battery tray in the bottom of the charging base for future use. IMPORTANT! Remove the “AA” batteries from the battery tray. • Fit the long tab on the battery tray into the slot on the bottom of the charging base.

• Remove the iXL Handheld Device from the charging station. Unplug the charging station from the wall outlet. • When you see the low battery indicator on the iXL Handheld Device screen, it’s time for an adult to charge the battery pack. -
