Using the appliance
Styling with the round brush
1 Take a lock of hair and wind it round the brush. Make sure the
end of the lock is wound in the required direction (fig. 4).
- Do not wind too much hair round the brush at a time.
- The thinner the lock of hair, the tighter the curl will be.
- Do not wind a lock of hair more than twice round the brush.
- Make sure the lock of hair is in contact with the barrel of the brush.
1 If you wind the hair at right angles to the scalp, you will give your
hair optimum lift and volume.
2 Activate the steam function by pushing the button on the
reservoir (fig. 5).
One push will suffice to set one curl or wave.
If the steam function does not work, the reservoir may be empty.
Refill the reservoir.
3 Set the appliance to the desired setting (fig. 6).
m: normal heat, no airflow.
~: a gentle, warm airflow for easy styling.
6: a stronger and warmer airflow for fast styling.
4 Hold the brush in place as long as required (normally 8 to 10
seconds).
5 Remove the brush from your hair by carefully unwinding the lock
of hair.
Make sure you keep the brush away from the underlying hair when
you remove it.
6 Let the curls cool down before combing, brushing or finger-
combing the hair to finish your style (fig. 7).
