Intended use
The product is used to wirelessly mirror the screen content of your smartphone or tablet, your
PC or MAC on an image display apparatus.
You can use it with a variety of devices, provided they have an HDMI
evision, video projector, monitor or similar. In the following instructions, we refer to all these
devices collectively using the term TV.
You can also stream or view video, audio and image data or even web pages and documents
on your TV by means of this stick. Live viewing from your smartphone camera or tablet is also
possible.
Moreover, the app can directly access various cloud services and supports Miracast, DLNA
and EZAir.
All of the common video, audio and image formats are supported.
You can control the device via the free downloadable app "EZCast". The language in the app
is set automatically.
It is powered via the micro-USB port. Data is transmitted wirelessly via WLAN.
For safety and compliance reasons, the product must not be converted or modified in any way.
If you use the product for other purposes than those described above, the product may be dam-
aged. Moreover, improper use involves risks such as short-circuits, fire, electric shocks, etc.
Please read the operating instructions carefully and do not discard them. Please include these
operating instructions when you pass the product on to a third party.

Connection and start-up
• Connect the special micro-USB 2.0 cable enclosed to the micro-USB 2.0 port of a Renkcast
stick.
• Plug the Renkcast stick into a free HDMI
• Connect the USB type A end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or to a USB
port on your TV.
• Turn on your TV and plug your USB power adapter into a power outlet (if used).
• Change the input source on your TV to the HDMI
• As soon as the Renkcast stick is ready to use, you should see the start screen with further
instructions on the stick.
Installing the app
Android

• Open the respective App Store on your smartphone. For Android
"Google Play". If you are using an Apple device, open Apple's App Store.
• Search for the "EZCast" app (blue icon) and install it.
• Alternatively, you can simply scan the QR code that appears on your TV
after connecting the stick. You will then be redirected to the correspond-
ing store page. The QR Code is valid for Android
Windows
• Open the following website on your computer: https://www.ezcast.com/app.
• There you will find different versions of the "EZCast" app to download. Make sure that the
"EZCast" tab is selected.
Select your operating system and click the corresponding button.
• On the next page, click the Download button for your version.
• Once the download is complete, install the app. Follow the instructions.
Confirm with Yes, if you come across a query from the Windows
example.
If asked, allow the program through your firewall.
You can also view on the website the original English manual of the software, watch various
YouTube videos and search for help in the forum or in the FAQs.
• To do this, click "User Manual" on the download page and select the appropriate product on
the next page.

information in these operating instructions regarding the proper use of the

• Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impacts, blows or falls even
from a low height.
