  • Page 4 Serial Programming Specifications Serial Command Structure “Start Character”<Command 1>…<Command n>“End Character” The command structure consists of: Start character Command/s End character Start Character Every serial programming starts with an SOH character (ASCII value 01). The SOH character is needed only once for each set of commands, for example if you need to send two consecutive commands, it would require one SOH character followed by the two commands and the End character.
