CLEANING AND CARE

CAUTION: Before cleaning the unit, turn power off and disconnect single pin plug.
TO CLEAN THE TANK
Remove the mist spout from the water tank.
Every Day: Empty and rinse the inside of the tank before refilling. Wipe the
mist spout with a soft damp cloth. DO NOT pour water into the mist spout or
submerge in water.
Every Week: To remove any scale or build up, use a 50/50 mixture of white
vinegar and lukewarm water to clean the inside of the tank.
TO CLEAN THE ULTRASONIC MEMBRANE, YOU MUST FIRST
REMOVE THE MIST SPOUT AND SPRING LOADED WICK.
Every Day: Wipe the ultrasonic membrane clean with a soft damp cloth.
Every Week: Make a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Dip a soft
bristle brush (not included) into the solution and brush the ultrasonic
membrane. Wipe clean with a soft cloth.
NOTE: Do not pour water or any liquid into the ultrasonic membrane.
DO NOT submerge in water.
NEVER touch the ultrasonic membrane with your fingers as the natural oils
in skin can damage the membrane.
TO CLEAN THE SURFACE
Clean the surface of the unit with a clean damp soft cloth as often as
needed.
Before Storing: Clean the tank with a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and
water. Rinse and thoroughly dry. Clean the ultrasonic membrane with a
50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Dip a soft bristle brush (not
included) into the solution and brush the ultrasonic membrane. Wipe the
ultrasonic membrane and mist spout clean with a soft cloth and
thoroughly dry.
