Internaltemperatureis the best
test of donenessfor manyfoods.
Use TEMP COOK/HOLDto
cook a varietyof foods to the
desiredfinishedfoodtemperature.
The TIME C(XIK I & U setting
is recommendedfor batters,
doughs, frozen foods and foods
which are difficult to cook
preciselywith the probe.
"TEMP COOK/k?OLD" takesthe
guessworkout of cookingbecause
the ovenautomaticallysignalswith
four beeps when the food reaches
the preset temperature. The Hold
featurewillmaintainthistemperature
for up to twelvehours or untilyou
touch the CLEAR/OFF pad.
Note: Oven automaticallyswitches
to "Hold" when preset food
temperature is reached.

The temperature probe is a food
thermometer that gauges the
intcid temperature of the food; it
must be Ltscdwhen using "TEMP
COOK/I-IOLD?'To use the probe
properly, followdirections below.

Pork or ham roasts need no trivet.
Add 1/2cup water to roast dish,
cover with plastic wrap. Insert
probe into center meaty area.
Place meat in oven with probe to
the right. Insert cable end of probe
firmly into receptacle on oven wall.

Step 1: Insert temperature probe
into roast and attach probe securely
in
oven wall. Close the door.
Step2: TouchTEMP COOK/HOLD.
"F" and "POWER 10'" are displayed
and "ENTER TEMP" flashes.
Step 3: Touch 1,2,5 for 125°F.
"TEMP," "POWER 10"and
'LIz~F"arc displayed.
Step 4: TOUCh P OWER LEVEL
pad. "ENTER POWER" flashes.
"Rwch.5 formediumpower."TEMP,"
"POWER 5" and b'125F"show
on display.

temperature of the roast is less than

@Use a lower power level; it will
heat more evenlyeven though

probe. Probe may break off if used
in frozen foods.
@Cover foods loosely for moisture
control and quick, even heating.

Q. I inserted the temperature
probe, closed the door,touched
TEM!PCOOK/HOLDand entered
my desiredfood temperaturebut
the temperaturedidn'tappear
on the display.
A. Youmay have entered an
incorrect temperature. Any food
temperature from 80° to 199°F.
may be entered for TEMP COOIG
HOLD. Touch CLEAR/OFF and
begin again.
Q. Are there any foods I can't
Temp Cook?
A. Yes. Delicate butter icings, ice
cream, frozen whipped toppings,
etc. soften rapidly at warm
temperatures. Batters, doughs and
frozen foods are also difficult to
cook precisely with the probe. It's
best to Time Cook these foods.
Q. Why did "PRIOB13"RWEI after
I touched the START pad?
A. "PROBE" will flash if you
don'tseat the cable end of the probe
securely into the receptacle in the
oven wall or if you touch the TEMP
COOKMOLD pad and forget to use
the probe.
Q. can I km%?my puobe in -the

A. No, if it touches the oven wall,
you may damage the oven.
