POWER SUPPLY
This calculator comes with a dual power source. The duration of the
alkaline battery depends entirely on individual usage.
(Note:
Do not attempt to change the battery by yourself. Have a
Canon Service Center change the battery for you.)
Electromagnetic interference or electrostatic discharge may
cause the display to malfunction or the contents of the
memory to be lost or altered. Should this occur, press the
key and re-start your calculation from the beginning.
MILLIONS AND THOUSANDS CALCULATION
: When calculating large amounts, these buttons can
help calculate the face value of each and every unit
correctly, avoiding hand entry errors and saving time.
During the calculations, each time when
*1
pressed. Number "0" will become a bit smaller than normal.
In this case, other numbers (such as 1, 2, 3, 4....) can still be
entered continuously, but when an operational command key
(such as +, –, x,
or =) is pressed, the display will restore to
normal status for calculation work.
If there are any decimal units in the calculation results, the "
*2
indication will not show up in the display.
