    Safety and general information Safety instructions Global Positioning System The GPS (Global Positioning System – GPS) is a satellite-based system, which can be used nearly anywhere in the world. It can provide GPS position at any time to the device. The most widely used GPS satellite system belongs to the government of the USA, who controls the accuracy and accessibility of the system.

  • Page 8 The signals of the GPS satellites cannot penetrate solid objects (except glass). The positioning does not work inside buildings and tunnels. Receiving of GPS signals may interfered by different environmental factors (bad weather, tall buildings, devices using wireless technology). Devices with wireless technology may interfere with the reception of satellite signals, making them inaccurate.

    2. Charging with AC charger Warning: The LED lights up red while charging. Do not disconnect the device from the charger until charging is complete and the LED turns blue. Charge the device when the battery is low. Warming up during charging is a normal physical phenomenon.

    6. Using a memory card Insert the memory card into the slot with the contacts facing the back. Push it in until it clicks. To remove the card, push the memory card slightly in until you hear a click. The card is ejected, it can be pulled out. 7.

    8. Water resistance The device is protected against water (drip-proof) in accordance with the IPX7 standard by the manufacturer, which means that the device can withstand immersion in water <1 m for up to 30 minutes. Water protection does not mean that the device can be used underwater, so we do not recommend immersion! The housing of the device will only withstand soaking if all the rubber covers are properly in place.

    Connect with computer The device can be connected with the computer through the MINI USB. You can copy the document between navigator and computer. 1. Please confirm the GPS navigation is power on. 2. Connect the MINI end [ ] of USB cable with the USB port on the left part of GPS device and the normal end ] with the Host port on computer.
