ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Model: Q 05

Assembly

Most of the assembly has been done for you. You will need to 10-15 minutes to assemble.
No tools are needed to assemble.

Unpacking

Carefully remove the all parts from the box. The paint on the stove is not fully cured until
after you fire the unit on its initial firing. Use care when handling all parts. Place them onto
a soft surface.

  • Page 1 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Model: Q 05 Assembly Most of the assembly has been done for you. You will need to 10-15 minutes to assemble. No tools are needed to assemble. Unpacking Carefully remove the all parts from the box. The paint on the stove is not fully cured until after you fire the unit on its initial firing. Use care when handling all parts. Place them onto a soft surface.
  • Page 2 Checking Every Part: Inspect the contents of your new heater for shipping damage or missing pieces or hardware. Make sure all parts are available and in good condition. There should be at least 5 screws and 5 nuts. Installing the feet and damper rod: Lean the base of the heater on its back to thread in the feet to the bottom. Do this on all four feet. Rotate the stove as needed for access. Feet are fully adjustable to stand even on most surfaces except for sand or other soft, loose surfaces. Assemble the ash drawer handle by installing 2 screws and nuts to the tray. Then slide it into place. Then slide the drawer into the body of the stove at the base. Important: With the Q-Flame lying flat on its back, position the nut on the damper vent to 11 o’clock.
  • Page 3 Installing the chimney and pipes: Install the 2 sections of chimney on the base of the unit, none of them will have the damper. Interlock the stove pipe so they lock into place and are even at the edges. Fit the longer section to the screened section. When assembling the chimney pipe, it will be necessary to bend and roll the sections to help adjust the metal lips accordingly. Don’t worry about the pipes becoming not perfectly round. You can roll them circular again. Attach the 3 screws through the tabs into the deflector disk.
  • Page 4 Once the stovepipes are firmly and vertically fitted together, the chimney section is complete it is complete. Place the chimney section on the body of the stove to prepare for your first burn in.
