    Installation of Icotera optical CPE and FTU Preface This installation guide covers all steps necessary to perform physical installation of Icotera CPE, ONT, and FTU. It shows how to open FTU case when it can be freely manipulated in hands (eg. after unpacking it) and when it is mounted on the wall.

    Do not allow children to play with the product, as it contains small parts that could be detached and create a choking hazard.  Use only original Icotera components and replacement parts. Failure to do so may result in performance loss, damage to the product, fire, electric shock, or injury. Any unauthorised modifications also invalidate the warranty.
  • Page 5 CPE/ONT model. Fibre optics safety The Icotera CPE in its optical variant utilizes laser and fibre optic technology. Although the strength of the light beam transmitted through the fibre is comparably low, caution should be maintained when handling fibre connectors and cords. When not connected, all optical connectors and sockets must be protected with dedicated caps.
