Explanation of symbol word panels
The following symbol word panels are used to classify and describe
the level of hazard, injury, and property damage caused when the
denotation is disregarded and improper use is performed.
WARNING
The following symbols are used to classify and describe the type of
instructions to be observed.
This symbol is used to alert users to specific operating
procedures that must not be performed.
This symbol is used to alert users to specific operating
procedures that must be followed in order to operate the
product safely.
1. The area in which the product may or may not be taken.
May result in explosion or fire.
DO NOT enter Zone 1, Zone 0 with this equipment.
DO NOT use in underground mining or the like.
DO NOT use in potential explosive dust atmosphere
of any classification or zone.
This product can be used in areas where
noncombustible dust and nonconductive dust may be
present.
Supplementary instructions for explosion-proof models
Denotes potential hazards that could
result in serious injury or death.
