    Introduction The Relio R2 is an exceptionally rugged embedded controller for operating in harsh environments. The R2’s fanless and nearly cable-less structure ensures extensive durability for long-term usage. The R2 differs from traditional industrial computer systems in that it is built using the PICMG COM Express architecture.

    The Base R2 computer system does not include a solid state drive or operating system. These can be added at the time of purchase and will be installed by Sealevel’s experienced technicians. If you purchase the computer with a solid state drive, the OS and all necessary software drivers will be preinstalled.

    Be sure to unplug the power switch cable from the 12000 carrier board before completely removing the core electronics. Failure to do so could damage the circuit board or switch.
