To change the position of the depth
gauge, turn the depth gauge knob
anticlockwise until the depth gauge is
loose enough to slide in the hole.
•
Set the depth, checking the depth
with a steel ruler for most accurate
measurement and then turn the knob
clockwise to tighten the depth gauge
in the required position.
•
The dust cap can be used to give
added protection against dust and
debris entering the chuck.
•
Place the cap over the shank of the bit
or chisels and slide it forward until it
rests against the shoulder of the bit.
Insert the bit or chisel into the chuck
as normal.
•
Your tool has a "power on indicator"
light. This light is always on when the
tool is plugged into a power source.
•
Use the spanner to take away the
gearbox cover.
•
Use a spatula or similar instrument to
apply multipurpose grease (supplied)
into the gearbox cavity. Be careful not
to scratch or otherwise damage the
mechanism.
•
Replace the cover.
