The FE Powertools FE 30 has two safety features related to drill jamming:

1. Restart Protection – Located in the machine's control system. If the magnetic clamp is switched off or there is a power failure, the machine stops automatically and does not restart until the ON/OFF switch is manually turned on again.

2. Thermal Overload Protection – Integrated into the motor. If the machine overheats, it shuts off automatically. To resume operation, remove any blockages and let the machine run at no-load speed for about 2 minutes.
