Crank Operated Folding Arm Awning System
The abc Deluxe lateral arm retractable awning is based on the enhanced system developed in Sweden by EGE Westin AB. This system
incorporates the latest advancements including a variable pitch adjustment for the arms and an energy absorbing shoulder. abc
imports the critical components of this system from EGE Sweden, and assembles them at our North Hollywood factory to produce
one of the most reliable time proven lateral arm awning systems available today.
Hardware is available in White, Sand and Bronze colors.
Standard operation is by smooth German Geiger bevel gears and crank, or by optional Somfy 500 or 600 series motors depending of
the size of the unit. Motors can be operated by switch or remote control, or integrated into other automated controls.
Arms are constructed utilizing double tensioned springs connected to the forearm with stainless steel chain.
The torsion bar, front bar, roller tube, wall and hood brackets and arm pro les are all manufactured with powder coated extruded
high quality aluminum.
Options include: Heavy gauge extruded aluminum hood and retractable valance.

- Page 3 Pitch All lateral arm awnings sold by abc Sun Control, LLC have a convenient pitch adjustment feature which allows the owner to easily adjust the pitch (degree of incline of the fabric relative to the vertical surface that the awning is attached to). When adjusting the pitch it is recommended that the awning is half way or less extended and that the arm is supported with upward pressure to reduce the pressure on the adjustment mechanism.

Should your awning require deep cleaning and/or re-treatment, an authorized dealer will be able to recommend a certi ed awning care specialist.
- Page 5 Limited Warranty abc Sun Control, LLC warrants that all products are made from the nest materials available and will be free of defects and shall will carry with them the following warranty. This warranty covers only materials and speci cally excludes the cost of removal of the defective item and installation of the replacement.
