USING RGB MODE
If "RGB" is not illuminated on the top mode indicator, press the RGB button on the left
once. On the left of the display, either "H" (Hue) or "S" (Saturation) will be displayed. To
select from 360 colors, press the RGB button until the "H" is displayed, then turn the
selector knob to scan through color options.
H0 = PURE RED
H120 = TRUE GREEN
H240 = TRUE BLUE
After selecting the color of your choice, it is possible to change the saturation of the
selected color. To adjust, press the RGB button and the display will change to "S".
You can then use the selector knob to adjust the intensity of the selected color.
To adjust the brightness of the selected color, press the selector knob. A number between
10 - 100 will be displayed.
To decrease light output, turn the selector knob counterclockwise.
To increase, turn clockwise.
USING COLOR CORRECTING MODE (CCT)
To switch from RGB mode to CCT mode, press the CCT button on the left side of the panel
once. The light will switch from using its RGB LEDs to the color correcting LEDs. The
readout will display the color temperature that the light is currently set to. To change the
CCT, turn the selector knob clockwise to increase, or counterclockwise to decrease.
5500K = Daylight. At 5500K, you will see the true color of your subject.
3200K = Tungsten. This setting will approximate the look of a warm white incandescent
light bulb and the subject will appear warmer.
Most rooms will fall between 3200K and 5500K. For instance, a room may have sunlight
(5500K) shining in through a window but have lamps with warm bulbs on or a florescent
light that is somewhere in between overhead. It may be desirable to match the color
temperature in the room. You can adjust the color temperature of your light to match the
color temperature of the room by adjusting the selector knob. Adjust until the light appears
to match the light in the room to your eye.
To adjust the brightness of the selected color, press the selector knob. A number between
10 - 100 will be displayed.
To decrease light output, turn the selector knob counterclockwise.
To increase, turn clockwise.
