    Operating the lifter when the battery charger is connected to an AC power source could result in permanent damage to the charger. Only use a battery charger supplied by or approved by Wood's Powr-Grip; other chargers may reduce battery life. Charge the battery as soon as possible after any extended use of the lifter, or whenever the battery gauge indicates diminished energy (see B preceding).
